Can I call now about an AC or furnace issue?
Not yet. Our Baton Rouge call line is being set up. The number below is a placeholder, not a working contact method. We cannot promise an answer, provider availability or an appointment. If there is immediate danger, leave the area and call 911; do not attempt electrical or gas repairs.
What should I have ready once the line is active?
Tell the independent provider the kind of equipment, the symptoms you observe and the service address. Ask whether it serves that address and whether the issue calls for maintenance, repair or a replacement assessment. The service-area ZIP list is an inquiry filter, not a coverage promise. ENERGY STAR advises knowing the model and maintenance history when speaking with a heating and cooling contractor.
How can I check a contractor?
Ask for the business name, applicable Louisiana license or registration and insurance for the work. Use the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors search yourself. Any service agreement is directly with the independent provider.
