Which ZIP codes are in the inquiry area?
The Baton Rouge inquiry area lists 70801, 70802, 70803, 70805, 70806, 70807, 70808, 70809, 70810, 70811, 70812, 70814, 70815, 70816, 70817, 70818, 70819, 70820 and 70836. These 19 ZIP codes are an inquiry filter, not a map of city limits and not a guarantee of a provider at any particular address.
Does a listed ZIP guarantee AC service?
No. An independent provider decides whether it serves an address, takes a call or accepts a job. The phone line is not active yet. Do not interpret the inquiry list as proof of coverage or appointment availability. Tell a provider your address and the service needed when the line becomes active.
What kinds of inquiries belong here?
Air conditioning cleaning, repair or replacement and furnace cleaning, repair or replacement fit the planned referral scope. See AC repair, HVAC repair and furnace repair for different starting points. A problem after humid weather or a storm should be described as an observation, not a diagnosis. Do not handle electrical or gas equipment; in an immediate danger leave and call 911.
Who confirms a provider's status?
Homeowners should ask about the applicable license or registration and insurance, then use the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors search. We have not verified any specific contractor for your address.
Our Baton Rouge call line is being set up.
